In this next blog post, I will talk about relevant discussion topics that stood out in Where to Invade Next. The topics I'm about to discuss are brought up everyday by people who want to make a change in the world and also a change in people.
Topic: Free Education Research Question: Should College Univerisity's in American provide American citizen students with free college tuition? Argument: Yes, I believe citizens of American should get access to free tuition. Not everyone is able to afford a college education. Education should be easy access to everyone who wants it. Especially if someone wants to go to college to get a degree but is unable to pay for it. It's unfair to the person who is willing to put effort in, and get a degree and have a good paying job so they can provide for themselves/their families. Topic: Prison system Research Question: Is the Prison system here in America, 21st century slavery? Argument: Do prisons treat their inmates like slaves? Inmates here in America are able to work when they are incarcerated to earn money. But are they getting paid well enough for the amount of work they do? I wouldn't say all prisons work their inmates like animals but they might take advantage of the opportunity. Why pay workers a lot of money, when the prison can pay their inmates a little amount to consume their goods? Topic: Abortion (pro-choice, pro-life) Research Question: Should women be able to chose what they want with their own bodies? Argument: I agree that women should be able to chose what they want to do with their own bodies because they have a right too. Being a women is incredibly challenging enough, why should the government have a say on what a women should do with her own body? Abortion has being a topic for some time now in the media, but abortion isn't just able taking away a life. People don't understand that their can be problems under the surface. For example, rape, or being to young to have a child. Having a child is responsibly, but having a child unplanned is extremely difficult. If a women chose abortion, she should be able to.

I like where you stand on how women should have the decision to do what they want with their body. I appreciate you mentioning it because not a lot of people are pro choice, a significant amount of the people being women.

To add to your pro choice argument, it really pisses me off that men feel as though they should have ANY say in what a woman does to her body.
